These Terms of Service govern your use of Dare (trydaredaily.com), a daily focus product operated by the sole proprietor trading as Dare. By creating an account or using Dare, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Dare. Each person may only maintain one account. Do not share your account credentials with others.
You agree not to misuse Dare — including attempting to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service, or using it for unlawful purposes.
Dare uses AI (via Anthropic's Claude) to suggest daily actions, refine goals, and generate weekly summaries and pattern insights. AI-generated suggestions are optional starting points — you're always free to edit or ignore them. Dare does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.
Pro is billed at R79/month or R787/year. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. If a payment fails, we'll retry and notify you by email; continued failure may result in your account reverting to the Free plan. We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before any price change takes effect.
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings → Billing, or by emailing daremainapp@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until then, with no partial refund for the remaining days. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan (max 2 projects); your goal, actions, reflection history, and existing projects are retained. You may resubscribe at any time.
Refunds are considered case-by-case within 7 days of a charge, for genuine billing errors or service issues. We don't offer refunds for simply changing your mind, since the Free plan already lets you evaluate the product before subscribing.
You own the content you create in Dare (your goals, actions, and reflections). By using Dare, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to operate the service.
Dare is a productivity tool, not medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice. The service is provided "as is," without guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Dare's liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using Dare and delete your account at any time.
Dare relies on third-party providers to operate: Supabase (database), Anthropic (AI), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting). Your data is processed through these providers solely to deliver Dare's features.
Dare is currently in early testing. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice as we improve the product. Thank you for helping test it.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes will first be addressed informally by contacting daremainapp@gmail.com before any formal action.
We may update these terms as Dare evolves. Continued use of Dare after changes means you accept the updated terms.
